Pushan mudra

Pushan mudra is dedicated to lord sun who is the deity of new hope and beginning, this mudra is for nourishment and digestion.

Benifits of Pushan mudra:

  • This mudra is highly beneficial for digestion.
  • Also, this mudra gives relief from gastric problem.
  • Stimulates the function of brain.
  • Removes nausea and vomiting.

Steps to do:

(right hand posture)

  • Touch the tip of your thumb to the tip of your index and middle fingers.
  • Apply a gentle pressure on the tips.

(left hand posture)

  • Touch the tip of your thumb to the tips of your middle and ring fingers.
  • Apply a gentle pressure on the tips.
  • Place the back of your hands onto the knees.
  • While practicing this mudra concentrate on breathing.

Time duration:

This mudra is beneficial if practiced atleast for 15 minutes and upto 45 minutes a day.

It is said that daily practice of meditation for 30 minutes can add value to your life.
